Patent granted: https://lnkd.in/ddBnGCJ Hard to believe, but for x-rays the vacuum is a more dense medium than solid matter. Therefore x-rays are reflected twice in order to avoid chromatic aberration on the inclined surfaces of a rotational body as well as on a central spindle, which respective bodies are made of metal or glass.
