Movie 1 - Floating modules
Relative to the extent of a body of water with a current, the floating turbine #resfloatingturbine can be manufactured with different diameters. The turbine has a round or rectangular raft-like float anchored to the bottom of the water. The float houses the generator, is equipped with PV cells and is connected to the underwater rotor by means of a shaft arranged coaxially and concentrically to the axis of rotation. The rotor blades are interconnected at their upper and lower ends by ring beams, respectively, and arranged at a radial distance from the shaft by means of tension spokes. The suction side of the rotor blades with the variable asymmetric airfoil profile is aligned in the direction of the flow by means of rotor blade integrated actuators in both halves of the orbit marked by the diameter P,P'. Res-institute.com also has the know-how for the shape transformation of the rotor blades with the variable airfoil.

Movie 3 - Horizontal modules
RES-Hydro Power features an innovative rotary wing kinematic with wing-integrated actuators to change the shape of a variable asymmetric wing, whose suction sides are aligned to the leeward flow direction in both halves of the orbit. With RES-Hydro Power, a buoyancy runner is provided that is ecologically completely harmless as it can be passed by fish in both directions and can therefore be used both as a run-of-river power plant on inland waterways and as a tidal power plant on suitable stretches of coastline, as well as a submarine hydro power plant. In this embodiment, the rotor blades reveal a nose part, a middle part and a rear part, the middle part constituting an in itself stiff longitudinal beam. Sectional arranged actuators reverse the suction side of the rotor wing blades at the diameter P,P' two times in each revolution.

Movie 4 - Barrage modules
Energy Chain, proposed for 17,4 million Dutch people dedicates its first post of the year to the Netherlands. The waters of the Oosterschelde, which are dammed up at high tide, flow into the North Sea with high current speed at low tide. Between the piers of the barrage, drums each with six adjustable rotor blades are driven by the current and are connected to each other by intermediate rotor discs to form a shear- and torsion-resistant frame girder with a diameter of nine meters. The rotor drums with adjustable rotor blades revolve with up to five times the flow speed and, channeled by the existing barrage, they could generate any amount of energy in the future. With the diameter P-P' oriented perpendicular to the flow direction, the suction side of the asymmetric blade profiles changes from the inside to the outside of the orbit and vice versa, so that the asymmetrically profiled adjustable rotor blades generate tangential propulsive forces from lift in the flow-oriented and downstream half of the orbit.
